I'm running WP 3.2.1 and I have Fresh Life theme installed. I've followed the instructions provided and I cannot save the theme options.

Hi, have loaded new version of Freshlife as instructed as recently upgraded to WP 3.2.1 but still Freshlife Theme Options page is not saving any new settings (whether loading Image logo, adding Twitter ID etc etc) - although now it at least seems to try - unlike with previous Freshlife version. It just clears and resets to default.
Figured problem might be name of folder as was "Freshlife/Freshlife1" for newly installed updated version so deleted old version that was still available, which seems to make name of the new version folder "Freshlife"... but still no apparent change to the saving settings problem on 'Freshlife Theme Options' page. Not sure if relevant but I would try "go to Dashboard and activate the theme again" as you suggest but don't see any option anywhere to activate the theme again... Any ideas on how I get the 'Freshlife Theme Options' page to work please? |

Thanks but the site is in-development, not public yet and not sure how front end would reveal reason why 'Freshlife Theme Options' in admin is failing to 'Save Settings'? Possibly it's a repeat on of bug problems experienced with WP 3.1 update - now maybe happening again with WP 3.2.1? Hoping there's a fix - can't load Logo, adjust Homepage, save Social Media IDs etc at present.

Check theme name, must be the same in two places:
- style.css Code:
Theme Name: Freshlife Code:
wp-content/themes/freshlife

Hi Radek, thanks, your reply prompted me to investigate again/further the naming of the main theme on the FTP. I'd been trying to do this via Dashboard and not getting the full story. Seems in loading a new version of Freshlife (for new WP version) and consequently re-doing same to try to fix problems, my FTP was assigning alternate names /freshlife1, /freshlife2 etc. So it was important to go in via FTP not Dashboard to check and fix - which I've now done by reloading the theme, changing the name on FTP back to 'freshlife' and then activating (rather than changing after activation which doesn't work). This is all dead simple for experienced folk but heady stuff for a non-programmer thinking a theme is a straightforward way to go - especially when there isn't some kind of 101 help guide covering basics. But anyways, getting there now and learning lots! Thanks for your help

Yes, the best solution - remove all older themes version via ftp.
